PQP (United Premier Qualifying Points)

United Airlines' elite status qualification metric, earned through spend + flights.

Full definition

United requires a combination of PQF (Premier Qualifying Flights — raw flights taken) plus PQP (Premier Qualifying Points — essentially dollars spent on United-ticketed travel). Status levels: Silver (12 PQF + 4K PQP), Gold (24 PQF + 8K PQP), Platinum (36 PQF + 12K PQP), 1K (54 PQF + 18K PQP).

PQP can also be earned via credit card spend: $12K on most United co-brand cards = 500 PQP.
