Why award charts still matter
Some US programs (Delta, United, American to a degree) have moved to dynamic pricing, where points required are tied to the cash fare. But the programs with published, fixed saver charts — Aeroplan, Atmos Rewards, Turkish Miles&Smiles, ANA, British Airways, Iberia, Etihad — remain the best value, because they price partner award inventory at a flat rate regardless of cash fare.
