How transfer partners work
Flexible credit card points (Chase UR, Amex MR, Capital One, Citi TY, Bilt) can be moved into participating airline loyalty programs. The ratio is how many credit card points it takes to get 1,000 airline miles — for example, 1:1 means 1,000 Chase UR become 1,000 United miles.
Transfer bonuses of 20–40% run periodically. Always search award space first, then transfer, since most transfers are non-reversible and can take anywhere from instant to 24 hours.
Best practices when transferring
