Codeshare
A flight marketed under multiple airlines' codes but operated by one.
Full definition
A codeshare flight has one operator but appears on multiple airlines' schedules. Example: a Delta flight JFK-LHR might also be sold as an Air France code and KLM code.
Codeshares matter for award booking: you're usually flying the operator's plane, but mileage accrual and cancel/change policies depend on the issuing carrier. Check which code your ticket is issued under.
